Description
Lets kick it old skool.Some of you may remember my old mangrove Pokémon. I decided to redesign them. I'm pretty pleased with how these turned out; the design basis isn't glaringly obvious, which is what I like about it
Based on Magrove Seeds/Crab Larvae and Mangrove Saplings/Spider Crabs/Mangrove Crabs.
Freefloating - 30% Chance of avoiding Water and Flying Type Attacks.

Basic Stage: Seedrift - The Floating Pokemon
Type: Grass
Ability: Freefloating
Name Meaning: Seed-Drift
Evolves: Leaf Stone
It floats downstream, soaking up the sunlight as it goes. Once it has stored enough nutrients, it will sink and bury itself in the river bed to prepare for evolution.

First Stage: Sprigani - The Mangrove Pokemon
Type: Grass/Bug
Ability: Water Absorb
Name Meaning: Sprig-Takaashigani/Kani (Crab)
It filters nutrients from the riverbed with its feet. When food is scarce, its legs can produce more siphons. When they gather to feed, small water Pokémon take shelter under the many legs.

OK now I have no idea what you're talking about. It sounds positive though! The first stage is based on a mangrove seed if that's what you mean.

haha yeh, the red mangrove produces a propegule, which is kinda like a seed. The red mangrove also has those cool roots that lifts it above the ground so it can breathe when the tide is in and that's a rhizophore. so you captured the coolest parts of the red mangrove in this design :]

quick explanation.
In Monty Python there's a character named Raymond Luxury-Yacht. But he say's his name is pronounced "Throatwobbler Mangrove"

Cool! Even more original than before. It's interesting to see such different characters from two versions. Shame the old spider-like form didn't work out, but I think it was a little overcomplicated.

Yes, that's exactly why I didn't revive the spider form. It had way too much going on. Also, it felt like it was trying to had to actually be a mangrove tree, rather than a mangrove creature.

Thank you! I like the ambiguity of Sprigani. I didn't want just just draw an obvious crab with a shoot on its back, so I had a bit of fun with the design
