So I finally got the chance to paint one of my all time favorite characters, The Major, from Ghost in the Shell. Not only that, I was able to use photo reference from someone who does an increadible job cosplaying as the character, the amazing Ms. Neon-Stitch . She's a cosplayer, photographer, and artist. Take a look at how very close science fiction is becoming science fact. The only thing that is holding us back are those who wish to continue to use all this old technology, and slap an adjective that describes what it is not on it like "clean", "green", or "iPad". (You'll see.)

Well, the gun the model was holding in the reference photo is a replica P90 --which is in fact a real firearm. For this piece I tried to change the weapon up some and paint in some GiTs styling, so the gun you see here doesn't really exist. Although I've heard you can order a kit from Japan that allows you to modify a P90 airsoft to look like the rifles used by Section 9 in the Stand Alone Complex series.

thank you very much for all the information you have given me the truth I was helpful. I was at the site of FN Herstal looking at different models of the P90 and Standard 2000 and I could give a good idea of weapons design, as long ago did not draw any. again congratulations on your work, apart from all others who could see a gallery here in your deviant art: D and we thank you again
