And I guess I should explain the thought behind her.
Basically, it's a "what if" kind of character thing: "What if Launch (or Lunch if you go by the original language) trained like the others, and that caused her two halves to merge?"
Thus, what we have here. With the kanji on her shirt standing for "balance".
