Said average Hunter also killed Coach once on the roller coaster tracks in Dark Carnival. It was a sad day, and we held a small memorial for him. Regardless, I wouldn't underestimate the power of a Hunter, ESPECIALLY in Verses mode. They can kill you VERY quickly.

D: But you should! It makes the game much more challenging. And you can play as an Infected, which is wonderfully fun. I love playing as the Hunter, Boomer, and Spitter, and sneaking up on people, thought it's pretty difficult. Now if only they'd let you play as a Witch. I'd recommend playing with friends only if you're on PC though, so you don't have to deal with as many angry people.

I don't like versus because of, well, the ragers and the kids who whine about everything if the game doesn't go absolutely perfect. I also don't like playing against zombies that can think, or as infected, against people that can think.

This is why I suggest playing with friends only, to avoid bad players. And what's wrong with smart zombies? They're the best kind.

And what's weak, Hunters, or the Infected in general? I would have to disagree with you. A lone survivor is just as vulnerable as a lone Infected. This is why VS. Infected are that much deadlier, as they try to coordinate their attacks. And while I don't mind being a survivor, I love playing as an Infected, as it's a fun way to change things up. Plus, there's nothing more satisfying when your plot to end the survivors goes well, and you can sit there and cackle. I wish they'd make a campaign so that you're forced to play as an Infected, just because I'd have far too much fun with it. XD

Well, they ARE strong in numbers. Sometimes, it's those darn common infected that get you killed. >:C
And Last Man on Earth isn't as bad, since you don't get incapped... I think. I don't play Mutations a whole lot, since I am sadly far too busy to play Left 4 Dead these days. I also like the first game a bit more, though I can't say why for certain... Maybe it's the atmosphere?

I find it more annoying than scary/diffcult to deal with hunters than the other special infected. There's just something about them that makes the nickname "Sweatshirt-wearing wuss" completely appropriate sometimes.

I just find it annoying when I'm playing with a friend and a hunter's got me pinned and NO ONE helps me. Even my friend. I think that's why I find them the most annoying.
