Description
A gas mask I found in a half wrecked building near my house...I took it home and cleaned it up, every time I saw it, it made me sad, afraid, weak. I knew I had to capture those feelings in a photograph. I hope I did.

I like this. It's a nice capture. I admit I clicked on it merely because it said GAS MASK, but looking at it a second time, I do see what you were trying to convey.

This picture definitely captures that mood. it almost looks like it's hung up casually for someone who's on call to go to war. Almost like it'd be an every day event for the owner to need it at the ready, each time not knowing if he'll be back to hang it up. Great picture

Ever since Israel was voted a "Jewish State" (that was back in 1948), so yeah 58 years now...
I'm going to shoot a lot more Military pictures in the near future, army bases and soldiers are all over the place, always an interesting subject for people who aren't used to it.

I think you did capture it, because when I saw this picture; I did feel a bit sad. Like someone had died inside it or something.
But great job on the angle. The black and white color choices helped with the mood.
