Description
I suck at drawing people. I've never been good at it as demonstrated with this sketch from 1984. Originally the image had two sides, one of which was a mess, so for the sake of making it look better, I've taken the better side and flipped it over to make a more pleasing image. This early design was probably inspired by SPACE:1999's spacesuits, which I rather liked at the time - and still do - but it has some improvements, such as head-mounted lamps, and shoulder baggies, and the harness is for the life support packages. The 'bump' in the top of the helmet is in fact the antenna bay for the suit communications system.
