Yes and no. I think I used a Pentel Aquash (with ink instead of water of course) in this case. So not a "real" brush I guess.
What's great about the Aquash is that you can either fill it with ink and use it like a brush pen or you can dip it like a brush and control the amount of
ink you apply to the page. And you don't have to wash it out, which is nice.

Ah, I've heard of that one, believe my local art shop stocks them. The reason I asked is that I use a brush-pen and can't get the volume of flow you seem to've gotten here.

Haven't used a brush pen so I can't really say how the aquash compares to it but I use it pretty much like a normal brush.

The Pentel brushpen is basically like a normal bush but with slower ink flow and a more durable nib (the main reason I got it).
