I thought I heard your voice today... but when I turned around, I found the echo of my own tears...I thought I saw a river today... but when I looked at it closely, I found it was the ice around your heart...
When I stepped up to break it through... the only thing I succeeded at was breaking the heart I call my own...
Where have you been for so long? And will you come back soon?
For the silence of my sadness is becoming an echo flowing into a river which is turning into a cold, ice-rimed heart...

the background was referenced from a photo on Stock Xchange, but has been brushed as well

NOTE: This piece took... god a very very long time to do. perhaps the longest I've worked in ... well months, really.
I toyed with it some before I took my hiatus, but at that time I had no wacom, and trying to mouse ti was difficult at best. So here I come again, with this new piece.
Feedback would be lovely.. Did you enjoy it? Please pardon some of the .. not quuiiiiite right bits of it, as i am still getting used to the wacom and am not 100% polished yet. heh

The hair... what about the hair? Please tell me you weren't about to say something negative because it looks absolutely lovely! I am serious when I say I can't believe you are airbrushing at this level when you haven't even had your wacom that long. Natural talent! She looks so realistic! I love the frigid and aloof feelings this seems to convey with not only the expression on her face but the murkiness of the background. Your words are fitted perfectly along side the image as always. Beautifully expressed..
