Hey, when I was about 8 I had a stamped tin weapon just like that. Except mine was vastly much cooler; it had a little flint wheel inside it that would spin when the trigger was pulled, and thereby shoot sparks out of the barrel.

It would be cool if you expanded this into a short series, either of Art passed out from too many chocolate eggs and dreaming, or one of his room-mates stumbling upon his drawing pad and reading his adventures of Colonel Jack and Jungle-kat.

Makes me think of an image I did of myself and T'Kay which was done off of the inspiration of the Han Solo and Chewbacca pose from the original Star Wars.

How many stories, movies, saturday morning cartoons, and video games have had a scene almost exactly like this? Not just the big guy in front of a naked girl thing, no. I'm talking about the naked, cute jungle girl behind the scientific-adventure type guy brandishing a cool gun.
Some things really are just classic and strong I guess.
The ray gun has a quaint design to it that adds an intersting effect to this piece.
Also, the web site you've linked to apparently has a testimonial from one;
Colonel Jack W Phillipson. Who seems to really know a thing or two about death-rays.

haha well delving deeper into the African jungle do usually tend to rip your clothing off. Haven't you ever seen Tarzan? I mean it's a freaking guarantee that you'll come out naked through the other side.
