[link] As a child I always dreamed of a world were Pokemon were real... And Suicune is my favourite legendary Pokemon, so, this is my guess on how it may look like, if my dreams would have become true.. ^^

Suicune is my fave of the Johto trio, and you've done it a lot of justice by bringing out its majestic nature

BEAUTIFUL! This painting is professinal. Also, I always believed Suicune was based one a wolf/Husky dog. Since his markers are the same. Entei reminds me of a Mastiff or lion while Raikou reminds me of a saber tooth tiger even though he's a dog beast. Awesome pantiing!

Suicune actually is a Japanese 'unicorn' with purifying powers with a dragonish muzzle and many other animal traits.

BUT Suicune is not a wolf. Suicune is a deer/gazelle. o.o He doesn't even look like a wolf.
Usualy I don't coment if I'm not gonna get a response, and that pisses me of cus when a lot of good artist, like you don't respond to coments its like it means nothing to you e.e ugh I'm sorry it just upsets me.
But... Suicune's just not a wolf.

wow...i was speechless for about one minute and now I think i can finally think again. I cannot begin to tell you which part i find most beautiful or how. It's one of the most ingenious interpretations of Suicune ever illustrated. And I always say the setting that which a character is a piece is placed in REALLY makes the entire piece, and I just think this was chosen to carefully well. I never would have once even imagine his long flowing tale to be the Aurora Borealis. He looks so gallant and strong, but there's a subtle sense of sadness within him like he knows something about the world that nobody else does.
also, it's interesting that you chose to depict him as a wolf. wolves are strong spirits, and largely connected to the night/moon/darker themed stories. The wolf is always the forgotten modest hero.

according to bulbapedia they're actually based on big cats:
suicune = Cheetah
Raikou = Tiger
Entei = Lion
I also believed they were dogs, until I read that and took a closer look on their sprites and official artworks >_<

this is absolutely stunning.
the whole thing is just captivating.
the eyes, the mane, the icy crystal crest, the background...everything!
it's a little annoying how some people argue over wether he's a canine/wolf or not instead of just enjoying the drawing, or enjoying pokemon at all.
i really don't get why that matters at all.
people see things in different ways and people should just respect that instead of having these stupid:
"legendary dogs!!!!" / "legendary beasts!!!!" battles.
but with that put aside, i say again,
