well, it actually CAN aply to all the birds, but the one i heard was that selina saw the circus thing with Dick intstead of Bruce, and he became stray. but if you think about it, it COULD work for all of them.

I read a fanfiction with him as Stray. It was where Jason Todd didn't die, so Tim wasn't taken in by Bruce. Instead, he was taken in by Catwoman, and 'Stray' was born.

I don't remember the name, though.....

Actually, if I do a Fanfiction I might do it as writing for if Dick Grayson was the partner, mostly because I'd like to see that. At first I actually thought that this was Dick because he had the blue eyes, but then all the comments said Tim so I guess not, oh well.

And as far as I know, Catlad/Stray began as a simple "What if Tim was Catwoman's partner?" kind of thing. There are a few fics on how that partnership came about. There are also other, similar, what ifs. Tim as Ivy's partner, Tim as Scarecrow's partner, Tim as Joker Jr, Tim as Ra's al ghul's... well, partner isn't exactly the right word for that. I've never seen him partnered with Penguin, though. I'd like to see that, if only for the image of him in a cuddle pile with a bunch of penguins (the actual birds). 

If you search the tag Catlad on AO3 or tumblr, you should find some fics and art. I have no idea who came up with the idea first, but it's pretty popular.

I love your art, by the way. It makes me want to pinch cheeks. Except this one which, as I said, makes me want to pet the pretty kitty. And I just noticed the actual (masked! Even if it's his/her natural markings, it's ADORABLE!) cat he's holding. Does that cat have a name?
