Hey dude, this is a nice piece. i especially liked the lower lip and eyes! i know what you mean about mike's work i think i check his site everyday after work and probably spend at least ten mins with each customer trying to get them to have somethin so much like yourself i can have a pop at somethin like it too, but as you know those tats and customers are few and far between!
do you use a neumatic machine at the moment? i know thats what mike uses i've spent quite a bit bit of time speaking to jinxi about the work he's done on her and she says they get alot more work done with the neuma and it seems less aggressive on the skin if thats the right way of saying it ha ha ah well i'd love a go of one for def! keep the good work up dude

I'm still using electrical machines (Pulse Executive and Solution run through an Eikon device). I just bought two Neumas and an air regulator but I can't use them until the air compressor arrives. They still hurt, but the thing is they layer colors better without causing as much trauma.
I know what you mean about getting customers to want stuff. You really have to sell it to them. One way to do it is do a couple choice peices for free on your friends and stuff your portfolio with those pictures. Thats what I'm doing when all my Neuma stuff gets here.

wow, this is great work. never seen a combination of a tribal and a realistic drawing before.
Devries takes tattooing to a whole new level

The tribal was the collector's idea. My own design, but i'd rather have' left it out, to be honest.

It's so rare to see an animal tattoo that looks like it's meant to! Completly brilliant - I'd certaintly get you to design a tattoo for me! (Were I of age and not so flighty)
