Description
Once upon a time, there was a girl called Goldilocks for her curly blonde hair. One day, she decided to go on a walk to pick some strawberries. She often liked to go for walks and usually enjoyed exploring different paths. While searching for strawberries, she realized she had walked very far from home and was beginning to feel very tired and hungry. As she kept walking, she munched on her strawberries until she came to a small cottage. She peered in the window, seeing no one inside. Finding the door unlocked, she let herself in, figuring she could just stop for a quick rest. The first room she came upon was the kitchen where she found a table with three chairs and three bowls of porridge. Goldilocks realized she was rather hungry and had eaten all of her strawberries. Trying the first bowl, she found it was too hot to eat. The second was not suitable either for it was too cold. The last bowl was just the right temperature and she gobbled the whole bowl. She made her way up the stairs and found three beds. The first she tried was far too firm. The second was much too soft. The third and smallest bed was just the perfect size and comfortably soft. Goldilocks laid down and quickly fell asleep.
When the three bears returned home they found the table had been disturbed.
"Someone's been eating my porridge!" Pappa Bear exclaimed.
"I think someone's been eating my porridge." Mamma Bear said.
"Somebody was eating my porridge and ate it all up!" Baby Bear cried.
The trio went up the stairs.
Seeing his rumpled blankets, Pappa Bear said, "It looks like someone was sleeping in my bed!"
"It's seems like someone was sleeping in my bed." Mamma Bear agreed.
"Hey, somebody is sleeping in my bed!" Baby Bear shouted.
The voice of Baby Bear woke Goldilocks and, frightened, she fled the house. The three bears haven't seen Goldilocks since.

And the sixth costume in the Story Land collection is Goldilocks! Designed and hand-sewn by me Maybe if I can find some stuffed bears of appropriate proportion, I'll take some more shots. The little basket of strawberries is from a Strawberry Shortcake play set I had and I just thought it would be cute.
