Description
Liu Kang is one of Raiden's chosen ones. A Student of the Wu Shi Academy, he has trained all his life to fight and protect EarthRealm. Kang goes on to defeat the Sorcerer Shang Tsung and also travels with his allies to Outworld where they must confront the invading Emperor Shao Kahn personally and defeat him at the front lines. However the timelines are led astray as he is killed by Raiden who was trying to hold him back from facing Shao Kahn. In a Blind and Desperate move Raiden had failed his Mortals, but ultimately saved Earthrealm at a huge cost. Liu Kang's soul would then be claimed by Quan Chi and turned loyal to Shinnok. The now Revenant Liu Kang is conscious of his choices and fights to unleash chaos to EarthRealm.

However when Kronika unleashes her Time distortions to the Realms, Past and Present clash together when the Revenant comes face to face with his Younger self. Will the Evil experienced Revenant bend his younger self to his evil will or can the Hero of Light defeat his future self and save the Realms?
