(The Kraken) The Kraken obviously incorporates Doc Ock's tentacles, but in this case, like the Penguin in Batman Returns whose penguin-like attributes are genetic, so are The Kraken's appendages, not mechanical. I'm borrowing the Penguin's nose as a signifier and making it a little more beak-like and in this case using the Penguin's trademark umbrella as more than an affectation. The umbrella rains sea water on The Kraken to help him survive on the surface world.
