Description This is a concept drawing of the human cleric player-character in my recent D&D 5E campaign. Ellora is an ex-soldier - a former war priest, in fact - who now uses her divine power to heal instead of harm. The glyphs on her arms were granted by her deity when she took up the healer's path.

I noticed the two hands on her necklace.  Is that her holy symbol?  If so, whose symbol is it?  I don't recognize it from any of the pantheons I've researched so far

That is her holy symbol. You wouldn't recognize it because that campaign was set in a world of my own design. Her deity was named Rohana, Goddess of Healing, and her symbol was a pair of cupped hands, as if offering care and blessings.

Very cool Pasi!  I love her design by the way, very practical but still fantastical!

OMG, I think I love you, and this too, obviously. I've been looking for a Monk design that would work well is a uniform, and this meets all my criteria. It's based on reality, but clearly fantasy. Its layered and unique, but not weighed down by unnecessary accessories. It's more Eastern the Western which makes it more practical for the warrior monk variety, and most of all it works well for either gender without oversexualization of one.

Well, thank you very much! I'm glad you like her. As a fan of fantasy, I want to believe in the fantasy characters I see, whether in my own artwork or someone else's. Your comment on the practicality of armour is a case in point. If a character doesn't look credible in how they're dressed or presented then it ruins my immersion. So, I strive to depict characters that seem like they could be real in some universe or other.

Thanks very much! I've never played a cleric, so it was a fun challenge to visualize one for the person who is playing this one.
