I was going through my old fantasy art, and found my glass dragon mosaic that I made back when I was 16 or so. It was a lot of work, requiring me to specifically grind a lot of pieces individually. It looks much better in real life - the dragon's breath is silvery white with a rainbow opalescence to it, that sparkles and shimmers into different colours when you look at it at different angles.Glass on wood board.
Edit I moved it back into my main gallery, even though it's old and doesn't look the greatest. I need more variety in my gallery...

Thanks! And, oh yes, definitely x_x I hated using the glass cutter - hurt my hand. I usually just broke the pieces off roughly, and then spent tons of time at the sander :b

Hello there
I don't normally do mosaic art - I did this for class way back in highschool, and all the materials were provided. Basically, we were given a piece of thin plywood to which we glued the glass, which came in large sheets, and had to be cut down and refined using a combination of a glass cutter tool and a large sanding machine. I forget what kind of glue we used, but the white stuff added after you were done wasn't your typical craft glue - it was definitely a kind of grout or mortar. Then it was sanded down to remove the glue that had stuck to the top of the glass.
