March 3, 2012It has been named!! I (and voters) have decided on The H.O.U.N.D.S (Hurt, Outcast, Unloved, Neglected, Downtrodden, and Saved). The official webpage name is TheHOUNDS.org. I am currently looking into seeing if the owner of Hounds.com would like to sell, but not sure how that goes. This way I can at least start a blog of some sort. Posting updates of artwork for the game, and our financial goals.
Congratulations ColoradoSpirit13! And thank you everyone for your creativity and support.
It's official. We are going to turn this into a game! The concept of the game is to take one mans trash and turn it into another mans treasure - taking rescue animals on the brink of death, caring and loving them, to give them their life back and find their untapped potential!
The catch is....I don't have a name for it!
So I will need your help in naming this game, if you come up with a name that I use, once the game is up and running I will give you a low number account which will be upgraded for life.
The game will start off with pits, but that wont be the only breed. The concept is promoting positive media and education for breeds which have Breed-specific legislation (BSL) and a negative reputation due to ignorant media.

This is a wonderful idea! And its needed, people need to learn that Pitt Bulls and other breeds with similar reputations are just as great dogs as any other. Definitely a game I will try :3

I like the name "Runts to Riches", but like someone said before, it just sounds weird because "runt" means the smallest dog in the litter. What about something like "No more Bones Rescue" (when you rescue them, you can see their bones, but after rescue, no more bones!), or "Shades of Gray to Color Rescue" (Before rescue, they are sad and it just seems like everything has no color, but afterwards, everything is happy and colorful again). Just some ideas

What a wonderful idea for a sim game! Of the names listed right now, I like Time to Save, or Furry Faith Rescue. Like someone else mentioned, in the future the game could be expanded from not only dogs to other animals like cats or even horses.

Also, if you need help with anything about the site(that doesn't involve coding since I'm coding illiterate) I'd be happy to help. I've played a lot of sim games, so I usually know what kind of stuff needed for them.
