Description This is possibly the saddest photo I've ever done... This is my dog Pierre. I've had him ever since I was 6....i've known him since I was 4. Maybe even 3. My grandma had him for 2 years before me and my aunt a year before that. I'm 17 now...so I guess he lived a long good life.

When I took this he couldn't walk anymore. He wouldn't eat. He couldn't even hold his bladder. I just sat with him, petting his head, talking with him. I was home alone so I cried alot...He fell asleep next to me and as I was petting him and I noticed the doggy tears. I couldnt help grabbing my camera... We put him down the next day. What a great Superbowl Sunday....Seahawks lost and my dog died.

At the vet I held him as he died. It was the hardest thing I've ever done. Pierre was my best friend. I grew up with him sleeping in my bed and playing soccer and basketball with me. He was always there. I remember when I was sad I'd hold him...I actually cried on his shoulder once or twice. He was the best dog in the world. I love him, and I miss him. Rest in peace my dear Pierre.

Only those who had love and lost a pet can understand your pain.
After some sad experiences, I can tell you that we, that give and feel such love coming back to us, we are blessed, 'cause I don't believe there's more unconditional feeling than that.
And, be until the end of their lives with them, as real friends, is the real proof of LOVE!
(sorry for my english)

i am so weird but i am actually crying here, tears are pouring down my face and i suppose its because of your message and the genre of music im listening to me. I've lost my cat, two horses and two dogs all to death. I know how you feel, I cied for two weeks straight. Im a animal lover as well and that is a gorgeous picture of an animal, it captures how they really are. It is so beautiful, the look on his eyes is so sad, as if he knows whats coming - god im crying again -, sorry I've gone on but its beautiful and if I go on any more I'll burst into more tears so this is absolutely sad. Awesomely sad pic.

this picture and the descrition are really beautiful. it actually made me cry.

I've never had a dog, but there was a dog i knew named Sheba. She was a wolf dog, and i only knew her for barely a year. When i found out she died i just cried so hard. She was having pups to, but they too died.... i was heart broken. I didn't even know her for a long time and i was still hurt. I can't even imagine how you might have felt.

That's beautiful. And so sad. I've never gone through the loss of a pet, but if either of my dogs died, I don't know what I'd do. If you can talk about it, you're probably handling it better than most. Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah...I've always handled death better then others...even deaths in the family...besides when I was real little...I've never cried over a pet. I've never really cried over anyone...not my grandma, my aunt, or my grandpa. My family thought there was something wrong with me....but i dont know, this was different. Thank you for your comment and I'll try.
