Interesting work...that space backdrop reminds me of something ..could it be the cover of The Space War/Frontier in Space ??

I See what you mean, but that was a fluke.
I had to do this quickly and so I used a backdrop I had been working on for a Blake 7 piece and rotated it by 45 degrees.
I must confess, however that The Space War cover is one of the best Target covers ever, so the influence is in there somewhere.

I just think Tom's face is a little bit fuzzy, for some reason I can't account for and K9 looks rushed.
Having not looked at it for a while, though, it doesn't look as bad as when I first posted it up.
