Your use of light here is very nice. I like the way the yellow/golden tones at the base of the tree fade up into the white lights above. Although the curves on the two outer white rings don't strike me as perfect (silly personal preference there) my eye enjoys the image as whole.

The White World Empress began as a small, glowing Seed. As the seed grew into a Sapling, the green seeds it dropped became her inhabitants. The Empress built an empire so great that it stretched entirely across the now vast Planet. The Seven Princes of the Universe - flushed red with adoration of her greatness - submitted to her, and abandoned their homes in the Sky, leaving nothing there but the lonely Sun. The taller the empire became, the closer the Empress was to the Sun. The closer she was to the Sun, the taller she grew, until the White World Empress and the Sun were close enough to share a kiss - a kiss of such magnificence, that it crumbled the tower to the ground. But it bothered the Empress not, for she was tall and lush and now had the company of her three children - ready to find their place in the Sky.
