Hi all!Here's a landscape sketch that I painted for a client! It was largely based on a reference provided by the client, specially the castle!
This was quite fun and also good practice!

Great painting. I have a question--this can be for anyone to answer.
How would you go about describing the architecture of this castle in a fantasy book, without using terms that relate to architecture styles referring to countries/earth stuff?

"The castle looked over the trees and hills of the mountain, three square towers raising about its slanted roof." Then perhaps something personifying it, to make the image stick better.
Not the most detailed description, but basic is often better and can leave more to the reader's imagination.Β I wish you luck in your writing!
