Lardums are a species of koala-feline mammals. On their planet, which lies in the Alpha Centauri star system, the laws of physics are broken as gravity is almost non-existence. As such, these creatures have evolved to eat excessively to become what we might interpret as plus-size but are considered the norm. Otherwise, they would float into the atmosphere where they would presumably die of starvation, dehydration, etc. Those born with the incapability of retaining that weight must wear loaded backpacks to travel outdoors. With an equivalent amount of IQ as humans, they manage to build an advanced technological society that prevents any harm from coming their way. The fastest way to travel for them is to either bounce around using their bloated bellies or by rolling around like bowling balls. They are harmless unless they are on earth where they would weigh 1 ton; thus, easily flattening a human.
