Well I just cant get the word "would you like to be my friend~? 8D" I mean~~ why ask~? if the person really treats you as his/her friend~ then you're his/her friend~ do you really have to ask to make sure that he/she see's you as a friend~? well...if they dont see you as one~ then maybe its because you both just cant get along that well~ it takes time to know someone~ not just by asking it |3This stamp was inspired by Lucky Star XD I read the manga~ Minami has a part saying similar with this XD (it was in chinese though |D)

So many people here says that it's stupid, childlish or weird way to making friends but you see,
one of my friends did so when she found me by 'random deviant' option. It turned out we like the same
music bands. I just recently realized that she asked me then if I want to be friends and maybe it might be seemed
to be weird but you know what, I don't regret. She's VERY nice person and great friend!

While asking for friends is a bad idea it's not necessarily a subconscious decision to make friends.
If you go through life expecting yourself to just fall into friendships then you'll probably end up anti social and unhappy.
Initiative should be taken at times and sometimes that could be making attempts to talk to someone or sending them messages ands striking up a conversation.
This can be done with the conscious intent to make friends and can work

I met one of my best friends just by talking about our favorite show called the walking dead we never asked to be friends and I honestly find it annoying whenever people ask to be my friend so Everytime I'm asked that I always find myself saying this..
"if you want to be my friend don't ask to in the first place friendships don't form by your desires and or choosing so you don't have to be lonely they just form automatically and I guess they form over time as well "
