It was rather simple to make. I used the base "spherical eyefish" then I added zblur for the vertical lightbursts. Then I rotated the flame to 45 degrees and added a zcone to a negative number on the final xform.

oohs o3o I keep trying to make good ones but it keeps coming up just simple... I want to make ones like you that aren't transparent etc. and actually have a form... it's getting kinda hard lol

Check our some tutorials. Also adjusting the wheights of the transforms to even out the fractal and upping the brightness and gamma in the adjust tab with help you.

awesome thanks I will and I've tried some tutorials and they are all pretty confusing. they are all pretty advanced sounding like everyone should know these things
