Description
I was pretty happy with how this guy turned out, although many don't seem to like him. PW stands for Pussywillow. His hands, feet and face are sculpted in polymer clay and his hair is a maribou feather (boa) which flowed nicely in the breeze. His clothing is hand made, and his whiskers were fishing line.He was 10 inches tall.

His expression reminds me of a strange man at a bar who walks up to you and says, "How you do'in?" I definitely love the attitude of this character, he is adorable.

The first thing I thought when I saw this was "hey, it's a Tina Turner troll!" It looks kinda like a cross between Tina Turner and Diana Ross to me. That' awesome.

oh but fyi, you may want to adjust his catagory... you have it in mixed media, it is a sculpture, right? just so it doesn't get deleted when DA goes crazy and eliminates things misplaced.

Well actually I sculpted the face on a wooden spoon, then sculpted the hands and feet (with armature wire as a skeleton) and attached that to the wooden spoon handle(wraped it around and glazed with epoxy). Then covered it with soft foam carved to look like a pear (the belly area) and made the clothes for him over that. The end result is a figure that can be posed (for the most part- his feet need to be in this position to stand).
It's actually a lot of fun I higly recommend making figures like this, I really enjoy it!
