Sometimes I do some ink warm-ups before starting work. Sometimes they don't suck.From the left; 's character Selene, Paul Pope's Batman, and a barbarian
I was really enjoying that Pope Batman and if I have the time I may do a full piece with his version of the Dark Knight

I need to get into brushes more. The quill has been my weapon of choice lately, but still getting used to it. Your inking is the bees knees my friend.

thanks, dude. The Pope love is mutual. I'm using a winsor newton sable hair #4 at the moment. I also use microns when I'm feeling not-so-confident with the brush.
