kung fu guy- yeah, my venom is probably more influenced by mcfarlane's version, as that's the last time I remember reading the comics with the character.
hobs006-as for how i realized it...nothing much, just started with a black canvas and went to work from there. nothing spectular, didn't take too long either. pretty much just a color sketch.

Awesome work on the slime texture of the tongue. Venom has to be one of the coolest comic characters ever, and youv'e captured his really well.
