They are in a fairly constant state of upgrade actually. Initially, though, I heated a sheet of 6mm sintra in the oven until it was very bendable, then curved it around my arm with the cuff smaller than the opposite end, then cut away the excess

costuming is expensive. rubbermaid tubs are on the cheaper end. Sign shops often have scrap plastic or sintra that they will sell you cheap as well.

That symbol is something that means a lot to me. Originally it was just the celtic symbol, but after being called the "celtic mando" I modified it to include elements of Boba Fett's chest symbol as well. Though I was never fully satisfied with it, since it was not an in-universe element. I have since replaced it with an dirty orange Rebel insignia.

Too bad. That symbol was awesome. Custom symbols like that (I think) give a great amount of mystique to a character. People see the symbol and think, "hm, I wonder what that stands for?" Makes a great backstory for any Mando character.

Ya it wasn't something I made up though, it's actually the celtic symbol for adventure. Legendary Pictures (Watchmen, Dark Knight) uses it as well as some other clothing items I've purchased over the years
