4 hours working in maya, 20 hours rendering previews, tweaking, 6 hours in photoshop, much of which was spent adjusting colors, contrast, and smoothing the model and brushing edges, because even the hightest anti-aliasing isn't perfect. I hope you all like it.Related content

That's a lot of work for me to view this and not leave a comment. I think it's so good it's making me want to touch that glass material. Yet I can almost feel it from here, it's that good. Great Job....Maya's a great app!

the 2d work looks cool, but doesn't work well with this image. the glass effect in itself is cool enough. the brightness of the 2d distracts from the main focal point. maybe 'soft light'? anyways. nice work joe. it pwns.
