This is from the huge record breaking ice storm we have had a couple of days ago. This is the branch of a tree covered in ice.________________________________________________

One of the prettiest sights I ever saw was a tree that had been completely covered in ice by an ice-storm. There was a street light directly behind it. That tree was lit up like no Christmas tree could be. Really beautiful. Unfortunately, the camera that I had at the time was not made for night shots and it really didn't show up very good.

Thank you...Yes ice is nice... you should have seen the ice storm that came into Oklahoma City that night. It was like the whole city was put into the deep-freezer. I was out early in the morning taking photos.

Thats cool. Now that I have a camera, I plan on taking picts of the neat frost formations I get on my windows, Or sundogs if I can see one.

Its when sun light reflects off of ice crystals in the air. I looks like a cloud shaped rainbow. You only see them when there are no clouds in the sky and its -30 celsius out (-22 fahrenheit)

I thought it was ironic, as I drove home with my new camera (A very nice Panasonic Lumix TZ3), I was saw one in the setting sun. While I was at a red light, I took my camera out of its package and tried to take a pic of it, but sadly the battery it came with had no charge, nor did it come with a memory card. Now that Im all set to take a pic of one, its overcast, and shall be for a few more days :-P.
The next one I see, Im so going to shoot it!
