Description
A speculative mockup for a Canadian JAS-41, as seen during CIAS 2015. For a brief period, the RCAF pondered a complementary force of light fighters to complement its existing F/A-34 fleet. Naturally, the Swedes came into play with an intriguing offer of 88 Vampyrens. Its closest competition would come in the form of the American F-33 Kingfisher, and a rematch with a stripped down CF-25 proposal. None of the bids would ever gain significant traction though. As the Canadians wisely chose to acquire additional Eclipses, with the option to upgrading to Adv specification down the line.
