'No takers'? You can't be serious man, she looks great! Face is expressive enough to hint at having character behind that blue veneer, and her fashion sense is more sensible than roughly 97% of asari art on the internet, so I love her straight up. I'd take her in a heartbeat if you gave me half a chance.
And hey, as for suspected art quality decline; don't even worry a thing about it. Your linework is still crisp and flowing, shading is still adding detail in all the right places, and you even still did a background of all things, which everyone knows is basically character-artist masochism. The fact that you're keepin at it anyway is only a good sign.
'Still new pics' is exactly right. Love seeing your new work, so keep it up!

Yup, a version of this design and pose has been around for a couple years. It was drawn worse years ago, but it sat around with no takers anyway.
If you wanna take her likeness/be able to use this pic for a chara, go ahead! I'm all for more Asari charas out there! I'd just be keeping the pic up in my galleries as a thing I drew, but I'd be passing off the likeness/chara/giving permission to use this image as you like.
...and I do worry about it. I'm good at worrying. Hahaha
Oh well. Just means I'll have to do some better things soon, I guess!
(also: backgrounds are way easy when you blur he hell out of them! But it makes a very nice difference having something behind it, even if it's super fast like this)

Hah well hey, if it's constant worrying that has got you here, then it must be working for you. All you really need to do now is learn to harness those niggling doubts, put them onto your inner hamster wheel, and use them to power your art going forward!
Totally agree about the backgrounds tho. Like character pics can work alright without them, ofc., but just having something in-setting there behind that face, it makes it a whole other look. Places and pictures and ideas come to mind about not just 'oh that's a neat person,' but what that character might be doing, how they might be doing it, WHY they might be doing it, all that fun stuff. So even if hasty and intentionally blurred a bit, backgrounds are most def a good call.
And hey tho, thanks! I will most definitely take ya up on that offer, because I'm always in the mood to make more blues, and having a nice proper face for them makes the process oh-so-much more fun. Cheers J!

Coolness, I'll credit the likeness in the description then, and you officially get to use em! Weee
Yeah, being able to manage all the negative thought SOUNDS nice, but it's been near impossible so far. SOMEDAY. Hahaha
On the upside, it probably has pushed me to keep getting better overall. So it's never ALL negative.
