Description I was so surprised I managed to get this shot! These guys were not sitting still for very long and this one took off before I could blink.

Location: Mount Tomah, Blue Mountains, Australia.
Camera: Pentax MZ50 SLR.
Edits: Scanned printed photo. Jazzed up the colour in Photoshop and used a masked high pass filter on the butterfly and flower to make it pop.

I'm no photographer so I don't really know what Im doing when I edit or take photos, I just do whatever i think looks cool

Thanks, I wanted the butterfly to stand out a bit more so I added a little more blur to the BG and brightened the colours.

First thing you wished was probably a lens with more zoom. I really wish it had more details...

yeah, it was a rush shot though. They wouldn't stop moving and when I saw one stop I used auto focus to capture it. I should have waited with a tripod, but no time.

I understand, but you could bring out composition by cropping the photo, thought.
I like it, as it is, just wanted to share an opinion.
