Description
A male Cross Orbweaver spider (Araneus diadematus) who had used his web to fold this leaf over so he could hide inside. As I turned the leaf to get a good shot he kept moving around to position himself upside down. You can tell it's a male by the ginormous pedipalps (appendages in front of his fangs) he has, by contrast the female has slender tubular pedipalps.
