My parents bought her to England when they were on 'leave.'
She was awestruck and kept asking us what everything was 'for!'

I think it was my Christening with my brother............we had to wait to come back to England before I was Christened (into what........God only knows)........but my parents did every thing by the book.

Really weird....found it the other day.
MY Christening with my squalling horrible baby brother.
We had to wait till my parents came on 'leave' from Sri Lanka.
I hated the whole thing because I was older ........didn't really understand at ALL.........still don't.
My Mother always had to do the right thing!
Sad really.

There are 12 and 14 years difference between me and my 2 sisters......LOL...

Actually it is a good poem....I think.
Here am I with a 'horrible' new brother! My parents on 'leave' from Sri Lanka...........I have to be 'Christened' because according to my Mum it is the 'thing to do.'
I remember being in that Church, having water crossed on my head, wearing white, everybody smiling and praying and listening to the 'squalls' of my brother.
I DO remember thinking at the time......."I am too old for this.!"
I was a Buddhist at age 3yrs old and I hated England.
I am dressed in white.....like the Virgin of Christ!
God Almighty must have turned in his grave.............I love that my sister is laughing.........she had been through it already!
