Description
Dr. N. Tropy holding some pieces of his time travel armor. (Twinsanity version)Sometimes Tropy likes to reminisce about his good old days of villainy, back when he used to battle the forces of good. Namely a certain orange bandicoot and his sister.
Even though he was beaten time and again by Crash it was still a high point in his life. Fighting along side other mad scientists for a common goal. Causing chaos and disorder. Relishing in his own power.
But time marches on. Things change, people change, everything changes. Even the master of time.
Crash Bandicoot nostalgia picture. Just a simple drawing I colored in photoshop. I like drawing Tropy without his armor. I imagine he's a permanent grump, mostly because he's stuck dealing with idiots all the time. I also imagine he has short hair. Basically my idea for his hair is a style that could fit under his helmet. Something he doesn't have to worry about messing up from wearing a helmet for long periods of time.

The Crash series kept changing hands. Now it's with Activision.

Activision bought the series and did nothing with it. Even cancelled the games that were in the works. Fans weren't happy about it.

reminds me of one of those old victorian portraits except he's only looking down. I love how he's holding his helmet! He feels remorse for his pass deeds-questioning his pass behavior in his mind, because he really looks like he's in deep thought.

This makes me sad...It's been 3 or 4 years since Mind Over Mutant, and I find myself missing Crash with every passing day. I still play Crash a lot, actually.

I love this. It really takes me back to the good old days when I was deeply involved in the Crash Bandicoot games. Sometimes I get an urge to draw something CB related, but I never know where to begin. Other times, it makes me sad to think about those days. It makes me realize just how much has changed over the years.
But still, this is a great piece nonetheless.

I've always enjoyed your Tropy pictures. The line art is great, as are the colors. Adding cross-hatch shading to his clothing and machinery/accessories is a really nice touch as well. I don't want to ramble, but it's an all-around nice piece of work.
