I can't believe we are 6-0!!! Too good to be true...I hope this keeps up!! I loved the guys wearing the throwback uniform...I dunno why, but it's just so classic football. It was the first game this season that wasn't on tv so back to the sports bar for me! My cousin and I always go to this one place to watch the games but this year all but one have been on regular tv. Winning the super bowl definitely has its perks
Well in my opinion, out of the last two princess movies, Rapunzel was the best, obviously. Anything is better than the princess and the frog. And as much as PatF was gorgeous in classic animation, Rapunzel had an incredible story line and the animation really enhanced the story! Though, part of me really really wishes it would have been done traditionally...
Oh Star Wars is a huge part of my life! Growing up that was one of my favorite favorite things. My best friend and I even made a tape of ourselves acting out all the movies with our stuffed animals playing the characters! LOL nerds. We literally knew every line.
I completely understand the dread of the Holidays!! I work as an artist for Trader Joe's (a grocery store) and in a grocery store, things get crazy. Especially come turkey time! But this year we are going to keep calm and just get through. Lol we really want to try to enjoy Christmas! Me and the other artist are going in around 5am on thanksgiving to decorate the whole store for Christmas (last year we went in at midnight). But I have a goal to be done by 12 so I can be home and supporting the boys by 12:30 Do you really build cakes?! Like on food network??

Whoop Whoop say What!!!!! We are now 7-0!!!! Can you believe it!!! I can't because we haven't been 7-0 since (oh shoot what did the announcers say) 1965? I think that's right but don't quote me. But the way we were looking that first half I was scared but with Woodson's interceptions really helped and scoring practically 20 points in the 3rd quarter really helped big time!!! No way you like when the Pack are in their throwback? I kind of like it but yet not if that makes sense, I don't know I guess their throwback is so different from today I can't get into it. Was this past game on regular tv for you or did you have to go to the bar again?
So you didn't like the Princess and the Frog? I really didn't either but it was a good effort on Disney's part to get an African American princess in the mix, but I am so shocked that they didn't want to add a Spanish or Mexican princess before they closed the whole princess thing.
No Way you and your friend made a movie with your stuffed animals acting out the characters from Star Wars!!! Way Awesome!!! Please tell me a weasel was Lando! I just love Star Wars so much but since Harry Potter that kind of almost reaches Star Wars.
OMG that sounds like so much fun!!! The grocery store must look fantastic and all the customers must gasp at you and the other artists talent!!! Do you make certain scenes on specific walls or do you do stuff like in Pleasentville? I love that movie. Sorry tangent.
Ha ha yes I really build cakes and more cakes and more cakes once Holidays and graduation time comes, it is an endless trail of none stop cakes. I also ice them and am learning how to decorate. I wish our bakery did cool things like on the Food Network or Ace of Cakes but we are pretty two dimensional and only do a few shape cakes here and there. I really love my job but I'm going back on first shift which is from 5am-1pm, so that means I have to get up at 3:30!!!!! Talk about me being a walking zombie. So what about you, what do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking?

7-0!! I kind of wish that we would lose so that we don't have a giant target on our back...though either way we do, cuz we won the super bowl. But still, I think that losing is good for a team. Except that I don't ever want to see us lose. Lol oh well.
I thought some scenes from "The Princess and the Frog" were quite beautiful and I definitely laughed at parts but it was missing something...I dunno, it's just not my favorite.
Haha no I'm sorry to say neither of us had weasel stuffed animals. We have these two fisher price elephants, she had one and I had one and we had these special voices for them and would take them on adventures with them so they played most of the main characters. Ha we were such little dorks, and loved it!
I actually don't paint the walls, they were painted by someone else before the store opened, but occasionally I change little stuff or touch something up if it needs it. My day at work is spent making signs for products, like today, one of the things that took the most time was wine signs. And tomorrow I am going to be making signs for turkeys, cuz it's that time! My main source of income is Trader Joe's. It's a really good job and I really love everyone I work with, which is so awesome.
But you still get to build cakes!! Decorating looks like so much fun. Does it stay warm in the bakery?? I have to work in the back room next to the garage door where they bring in the loads and in the winter when that door is open....it's freeeezing! But. Winter in NC is probably ten times warmer than in Wisconsin.
Morning shift!!!! That's what I work! Tho I usually go in at 6, occasionally i've got to be in at 4:30. If I got up at 3:30 though, I'd probably die. Are you in school??

8-0, can you believe it we are 8-0!!!!! I for sure thought we were going to lose it in the 4th quarter. Once again our defense was looking like crap giving up 14 points in the last 8 minutes of the game, what with Nelson not recovering the ball on the onside kick!!!! And of course there were other stupid mistakes like the penalties, I think the refs were out to get us as well. I am so scared to play the Vikings again, oh man, I'm sure their quarterback Ponder will be on but no one can compare to my Rodgers, can you believe he had over 50 yards in rushing in the last game!!!! Say what!!! This upcoming week is going to be hard on the Pack. First they play Monday night, then they play Sunday afternoon (the game I will be at, so EXCITED!!!) and then they play that Thursday on Thanksgiving. Oh man those boys are going to be tired!!!
Way cool, so you are a product designer. I went to school for graphic design but as you can see I do nothing with it, I don't know about you but I just couldn't stand sitting at a computer all day. Granted at home it's different I don't know I guess as a job it took the fun out of it also to I worked for a lot of people and companies that did not suit me. I'm so happy that you work for a company that you like and the same with the people. Apart from turkeys anything x-mas coming up?
Ha ha I wish it was warm in the bakery, you should see me I am bundled up in so many layers it's not funny!!! Oh man you work by the garage door, you must be a popsicle at the end of the day!!! What's the coldest it's ever gotten in NC? Everyone always thinks WI is so cold but really MN probably gets way colder than us or maybe I'm just use to it once winter rolls around. It's so funny I was just talking to one of my coworkers and said when it reaches below 10's it's cold but when it gets to be 30's we think it's a heat wave.
So you feel my pain when you have to be in at 4:30 occasionally, but 6 is a good time for work because you get home at least by 3. Ha ha yah by the end of the week I do slowly die from exhaustion and sleep my entire day off away which is tomorrow!!!!
No I am not in school, I graduated from college in 06' are you in school? Sometimes I would love to go back for my masters but I'm weary on that.

Ugh that was a game that wasn't on tv so i was watching it on NFL.com, where you see the field and it updates it play by play...with arrows to represent the team. BUT this week is MNF so I can watch it!! Ugh ok, one more game vs. the Vikings and then they are done with for the year! I hope. But it's really the Lions who I am stressing about. I am really glad the game on Thanksgiving will be over by the time we eat, because if it was during or after, I'd lose my appetite lol! I have to go to work that morning but my goal is to be done by 12 at least so I can rush home and turn the game on. Gotta be there for my boys!!!
Well I don't ever use a computer. Unless I'm looking up prices or info for food products. I use good ol' spray paint and paint markers to make all boards. Every sign I make is on paper with markers. So what I do I guess is way more interesting than being on a computer all day. Well turkeys are up and staying up for two more weeks so right now it's ALL christmas! Getting all the decorations ready and all the christmas signage, whew! It's gonna get a little crazy. But once it goes up things will calm down.
Ok yesterday at work I wore: wool socks, two long sleeve shirts, a fleece jacket, a parka, a scarf and had two heaters on me and I was still chilly. Of course, my two heaters kept blowing the fuse so I had to choose only one haha. AND, it's not even winter yet. When they bring the loads in I'm just going to have to start going into the store until they close the door. How on earth do you make cakes while being bundled?? The coldest here? Maybe 10 degrees? In the AM though. Which is when I'm at work lol. See, yeah, I have nothing to complain about. Ten below?? No.Way.
I've definitely gotten used to being up early. But when I get to sleep in til 9 it's fabulous.
Naw I am not in school. I took a couple of community college classes but other than that I never went. When I graduated high school I went to India for a few months a time instead of college, and then after I came home for good I got a job and worked on art. I love learning though and would love to take classes just for the fun of learning, like history and literature, but not for a degree.
So what does one do for fun in Wisconsin??

OMG I totally know what you mean when watching the nfl.com where all it is is arrows going down the field and pop ups saying what happened with fans blogs at the bottom. Oh man that was a good game against the Chargers and I wished you could have seen it but you got to watch the Monday night game and let me tell you now that's the Packers I know. Both defense and offense looked Fantastic!!! What with Cobb running the punt back for a TD but then fumbles in the 3rd quarter and then the Vikings score. Oh well at least we kicked their purple booties!!!! I am so happy you said what you said about watching the Pack on Turkey day. I told my mom that I have to watch the game no matter what if the family is coming over, I will be in that living room watching that game no matter what and I am so happy she said that we could eat out in the living room because like what you said "gotta be there for my boys"
And speaking of being there for the boys, guess who I got to meet just a few hours ago!!!!!!! John Kuhn and Chad Clifton!!!!!!!!!! It was in the newspaper yesterday that they would be down in Racine,WI where I live signing autographs!!!!! I got my Packer football signed and now I have those two plus the one when I met Donald Driver a few years back!!!! It was so cool, Kuhn was really shy and barely talked he only smiled at me but Clifton was a HUGE teddybear and I got my picture with him but it kind of turned out blurry from my sister, Oh well.
No way you do everything with paper and markers, wow that is really talented!!! That is totally more interesting than on a computer.
OMG no way the only item of clothing you were missing was a parka. Awww I wish I had a space heater and you have two!! Granted you had to eventually choose one but still you have a space heater. 10 degrees is cold but I know what you mean when it gets even below that, my nose hairs freeze when I step outside.
WOW you went to India!!!! That must have been a cool trip, what did you do, where did you go, what did you see? Do you ever think about going to college?
Ha ha that's a funny question, "so what does one do for fun in WI?" Well my friend that is a very good question, one I cannot answer because WI sucks and the city I live in there is absolutely NOTHING to do!!!!! I guess that's why I love to travel so much. What about you, anything more fun and exciting in NC?

Whoa I haven't responded in awhile. How was the game??!?!? Close one though wasn't it! So we both got to see them flounder around this year. And you met Kuhn and Clifton!! SO jealous. I've only met one NFL player, Will Witherspoon...I worked at a post office and he was mailing a package. LOL.
Oh i was totally wearing a parka!! I have a giant one from oakley. It's the best. And having two heaters isn't that great...The stupid fuse keeps blowing if I run both at the same time so I have to choose... But at least I have SOME form of heat. I am SO glad that it doesn't get that cold here.
I went to work at a children's home in southern India. I've been there 3 times, for a couple of months at a time. I didn't really see much other than the village that I lived in, we occasionally traveled around but I didn't like leaving, I wanted to get as much time with the kids as possible. I taught in the school and then helped take care of them at the home. There were like, 200 kids at the home? I did think about college, but I couldn't find a college that offered really good illustration classes...I wasn't interested in colleges away from Charlotte. HA and so I go to India instead. No logic there lol. I've thought about SCAD but who knows. Maybe one day....
Yeah...Wisconsin was a lot of fields and cows from what I saw...But the people were so nice and I went to a huge mall. It was a great time. UM here? Nascar...shopping? People hunt and fish, a lot of outdoor stuff. But that's it really. Where have you traveled to?
OH what are your thoughts on Mr. Suh?

OMG the game was SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! Granted it was cold for me and my dad but my sister wore only a long sleeve shirt and her jersey and gloves, she was INSANE!!! I had my long winter coat on with a sweater underneath with a long sleeve shirt and my dad's underarmor turtleneck!!! And what a game it was and were you able to watch last night's game? What a nail bitter!!!! I literally was at the edge of my seat, thank goodness Crosby didn't miss the last field and thank the maker Matthews intercepted Manning and ran it in for a TD, granted if Rodgers didn't throw his interception the Giants would have been down by one TD. Oh well we won, 12-0 baby!!!!! But I am so afraid with all the injuries that are happening again. Woodson might have a concussion, Hawk, Sitton, Bishop were all out last game, Clifton is still not back and did you see what happened to Querless (I don't know if I spelled his name correct) His leg bent in a way that should not, OUCH!!!!
OMG did you see that the Packers are selling stock tomorrow!!!!! I am so going to buy some, granted it's a pretty penny but I don't care me and my sister are going in on it together. I am so excited.
I looked up Will Witherspoon and that is Awesome!! Did you get his autograph, was he just chillin mailing a package, did you talk to him?
WOW that is so cool on what you did in India. What all the good you did in helping all those kids. Do you have any penpal's there that you write to or keep in contact? I thought that was a funny statement you said about not wanting to go away for college but you go to India.
Ha ha everyone always says that WI is only fields and cows, granted the further North you go the truer that statement becomes, ugh this state sucks. Hope you are not into Nascar because I do not understand the thrill of cars going around in a circle 500 times!!!! Don't mean no disrespect if you are but man I would rather saw off my foot than watch that (sorry a little overdramatic).
Oh man I have been very fortunate on all the places I have traveled. I have been to CA, NYC, and FL so many times I have lost count. I've been to several states for a few days due to when my brother played volleyball we traveled with him. I've been to Las Vegas, not a big fan but glad I went, Texas, Ohio, but the best trip I EVER went on was when I went overseas to England, France, Italy, and Germany!!!!!!!!! I literally could have died the next day and be happy. I have wanted to go overseas since I could remember and for my golden birthday my mom, aunt, and uncle took me. The BEST Experience in my life. But what is even more cool is that when I turn ( I hate to say it) 30, in two more years, me, my mom, and sister are going to go to England!!!! I am so Excited, maybe I'll met a British bloke and live in the countryside. That would be Awesome, but I could never cheat on my Rodgers. What about you, apart from India?
Ugh do not get me started on Suh!!! I am so glad he was fined and suspended from two games, I hope he learns his lesson, why can't we all just get a long.
