Description Well here is the color WIP of this cover art.
It's taking me some time because I have a LOT to color but her skin and such is done. I love, love love coloring skin--I have no idea why either.
I think that's why if I HAVE to color my girls are half naked. LOL!

Enjoy and any feedback is welcome--I'm clueless with color.

If she had freckles and a bit thicker middle she'd look like me... and I love green. o_0

Understandable that you love coloring skin. It has so many colors, it's just fascinating. You might be able to make it more realistic by adding a bit of a pore-structure in some parts, btw. ^^ The polished skin we know of photomodels is normally photoshopped and a bit less fun to recreate on paper than the real deal. d:

Aaand you must have gone mad with those roses! XD Wow, I envy your patience!

The contrast between the flat color of the roses (just black and red), the yellow/red horseshoe and the carefully shaded figure in it is still quite harsh. I'd at least darken down some parts of the horseshoe. ^^ Or do you plan to shade roses and horseshoe too? (in the case of the roses: Wow, I REALLY envy your patience. O,o ).

And... does it make any sense when I say that I love the way you draw knees?

Knees? Orly?
I hate drawing legs in general but I can see that. I like knuckle/joints too. Hee hee, not weird at all!

Legs are awesome, in my eyes. I mean, you can draw them in so many different forms and sizes and they are still clearly legs. Gotta love that fact. ^^

Yes, I know I'm going to kill myself with all the coloring but I am going to color the roses and the horse shoe.
This is FAR from done and I'm probably going to hide under a rock once I'm done with it.

I also need to draw up some prints. @__@ NO TIME. I hope to draw some more when I go home in July for a visit.

This is fantastical. In fact, I have the perfect new character I recently came up with (who just so happens to be a White woman with red hair, blue eyes, and big breasts) for you to do once you're back to doing private commissions.
