Can you believe it's almost August already?
...yeah, neither can I. And with the beginning of August comes this girl's birthday on August 1st!
It's Chika Takami from Love Live - the reason why Aqours began!

Chika isn't one of my favorites, but that doesn't mean I don't like her. In fact, I like her a lot! Then again, I just love Aqours a whole lot~ Chika is very determined and positive, but to me she just really doesn't stand out too much personality-wise despite being the backbone of Aqours. She has an energetic voice and a nice name that means "a thousand songs", hence the title of this deviation! I think it's a fitting name for an aspiring idol, no?

Chaka has a lovely style of fashion, and I had trouble deciding which outfit to draw her in! I ended up settling on this one because it's summery and I always like to make appropriate drawings for the seasons. I don't really like her hair much, though. I understand she cuts her own bangs which is why they're kinda messy, but that makes them and her entire hairdo kinda hard to draw...

I really hope I did Chika justice, she and the background were pretty cool to make and draw! I'll definitely celebrate her big day tomorrow by playing Love Live a lot!
Honoka's big day is also on the horizon, and I'm definitely going to do something for her too~
