for a while now ive been wanting to draw a hippie girl...finally i got to it....i took a different alternative as to what i draw with....i did the whole thing in pen....regular BIC pens....one black and one blue and then i had a black sharpie marker too....i dont know if i got the hippie vibe down in the drawing as i have some doubts but none the less i am happy with the whole thing....i really like the color vibe i get from it....somethin different i tried and it worked out good i thinkRelated content

hey thanks alot dude for the two comments and the fav and for puttin me on your watch list....this drawing seems to be my most popular one i got on this site which is awesome. as far as the being blazed while drawing....im with u a 110% on that man....i mean drawing or doing any kind of art sober is awesome too but it turns into something surreal when your high and u just get lost in it. haha but i must say weed can work in two different ways when drawing...either u get so zoned in on the drawing that u can draw nostop for a while and not even notice it or it can be really hard sometimes to stay focused on drawing...u catch yourself zoning out on the wall, the lyrics to a song or god knows whatelse...anything besides the drawing haha....not to mention when the munchies kick in...forget it. once again thanks for the comments, etc. its always good to have someone to talk to about art or whatever and who enjoys the herb.

i think this turned out very well for you. i like the eyes closed as if she is sending out the vibe your talking about. i think shes saying " here....feel this". i just wish i could draw a face as well as you do ...very cool

wow man you nailed that one right on the head as far as the kind of message i was trying to say....thats really awesome that you noticed that....i been drawing faces since the movie titanic came out....lol....i know...wierd of me to mention titanic....but thats how i remember it because kate winslet who played rose...was the actual first face i ever really tried to draw...i think i still got it...i had to be 13 or so at the time...finally at 22 i think i got a good grasp on it....ive got ALOT of books on drawing techniques of faces...it just takes practice...to get it almost perfect takes me like 1-2 sketches before i can get it down good for a final piece....you just gotta look at the face your trying to draw for what it really is on the photo rather than what your brain THINK it sees.
