wow when I saw the small picture those dark minions thought they were a hint of evil beings who attacked the girl caught my attention for that but the image closer and saw that his hand was caressing his head so it seemed the quieter scene good job that moved me

Thank you so much! As an artist, it's always a challenge to get a concept from your head onto paper. This piece was one of those rare instances when I managed to capture EXACTLY what I had envisioned.

Don't be ridiculous, Adam. The naturalness (is that a word?) and fluidity of your inks makes me want to throw away my brushes and pens.
As for the lighting, I knew that if I was going to pull off what I had in my head for this piece, that I was going to have to absolutely nail the light and shadow. Step 1: I set up a photo shoot with my daughter lying on the table, extension cords running through my sleeves to little night lights in my hands, and I let that serve as the only light source in a pitch black room. Step 2: hold really still.

Well it does seem a bit awkward, but naturalness is in fact a word.
naturalness - the quality of being natural or based on natural principles; "he accepted the naturalness of death"; "the spontaneous naturalness of his manner"
pulled off of an online dictionary.. so you're safe! use naturalness all you want!
