ARC Troopers of the 332nd Legion were part of highly trained, and highly revered within the 332nd, among whose ranks included Lieutenant Ian, Major Hammond, Captain Brach, as well as the leader of the 332nd: CT-0292, Commander Vaughn. The ARC troopers were trained in all manner of combat, from infantry, heavy weapons, infiltration, long range sniper fire, intelligence gathering, etc., making them one of the highly praised soldiers, in the 332nd Legion. The ARC troopers were also well known for their loyalty to each other, and would always have each other's back when in battle. Formed from the 501st Legion in preparation for the Siege of Mandalore, their loyalty to their Jedi Commander, Ahsoka Tano, was rivaled only by the 321st Legion, which was said to be the only clone unit that could rival the 332nd.

This loyalty came from the fact that Tano was willing to put her life on the line for the clones, and thus lead her to earn their loyalty. This loyalty would come to be earned from numerous battles, and would continue even after she became a Jedi Knight and General in her own right. When Order 66 was enacted, their loyalty to the Jedi would come to be tested.

Nearly half of the 332nd Legion would remain loyal to the Jedi, whereas the other half swore allegiance to the New Galactic Empire. The 332nd Loyalist would go on to form the first group of clone soldiers who would go on to fight for the Jedi formed Amidala Empire, and fight against the Empire’s stormtrooper forces. One aspect of the 332nd Legion, was their resilience in serving under Ahsoka Tano, as they would always view her as their true Jedi commander.
