First off, I love your gallery. I am a huge nature fan, and your pics are so real. You shot things as is and didn't use tons of special embellishing graphics. I love that.

With that in mind, you may enjoy a few of my most recent pictures. They are kinda up your ally.

Love this.

You have a very good eye for the beauty of nature! Keep at it and make good use of it. There is so much beauty around us, and indeed it does not need all the "embellishing".

Yes, I never thought I could do them. This autumn and early winter provided great possibilities. But you have to be out and about at the right time!

This is such a structured avenue planting of Beech that there must be a story to it? There must be a big house somewhere near. The trees also look old and although it is difficult to tell from a photo they must be 150+ years. Again your usual fantastic standard!

One of the great things in this area is indeed the existence of so many of these Beech lanes. There are quite a lot of country houses here, this being a dry area where people liked to build these houses when they fled Amsterdam. Some of the great merchants went to the dry grounds behind the coastal dunes, some built their magnificent houses along the river Vecht and some came to this area. Once again many thanks to the ice age! Due to it our own part of Hilversum lies on a "hill" that is about 15 yards above sea-level!

Love how the sun rays flow between the trees. The coloured leaves covering the ground. Beautiful capture. So sharp and vivid. Well done.

What's not to love about this one, huge strong symetrical trees, a pathway laden with colorful leaves, and the sun rays streaking into the scene.

Once again many thanks for the fav. Sometimes when I get very many reactions I look at the top of the message list first and then get mixed up. So you get thanked twice today. But better twice than not at all!

I am very glad you like it.
Actually I have a request to you. You have so marvellous alpine shots. But what I miss are those beautiful summer alm meadows with their wonderful flowers. They may be somewhere back in your gallery. I must admit I have not looked to its very end. I just want to say that I am longing for such shots ... and do hope you have some and could submit them. It was in 1987 that we went to the Alps for the last time ... and I am dreaming of it since then once again to see those meadows!

nice to meet another mountain lover .No problem for the photos of the Alps.I've still a good quantity .The problem is that all of these photos are films so I have to scan these.Fortunatly I recently bought a digital camera and I hope to return in the mountains soon to make some photos.

Bye and good Christmas

All my best wishes for a Merry Christmas to you, too. Hopefully you will be able to scan some of these alpine shots I asked you for. In these months you can only take winter shots. And I am so much more intrigued by the beauty of spring, summer and autumn with all its colours!
This does not mean that I am not very glad you have a digital camera now. I hope it will bring you great pleasure.
