If it isn't obvious, I watched "Mythbusters" this past Wednesday. In case you missed it, episode 612 "James Bond Special" showcases the gang at their most playful, undertaking their tests in full spy costume and enacting their own Bond movie trailer. It inspired me to throw this together - yet another example of how cool it would be if the Mythbusters made the leap to the big screen.Related content

It's a spoof of the James Bond films in general, although the title is specifically a play on the 1973 Bond film Live and Let Die.

LOVE IT!! I saw the episode and my favorite was the opening scene. Grant and Tory had the best henchmen looks and Adam was great as the baron. Cant wait for this movie to come out

I unfortunately missed that one. I try to watch Mythbusters regularly but that rarely happens. If this were a real film, I would be first in line to buy a ticket.

It wouldn't be cool if the Mythbusters hit the big screen - they would have to act rather than be themselves, plus there would also be a risk of a plot. A longer episode wouldn't quite do as well.

That's true. And if there's one thing I've noticed in the blueprint segments, it's that Grant and Tory really can't act. Still, with all this movie-themed stuff they do, it's fun to dream.

There's going to be a follow-up episode later this season. It must be another one of those cases where they had so many myths to tackle, they couldn't fit 'em all in one show.
