Pictured here is a Vulpesant doctor checking the pulse rate of a young male Jiniijin (pronounced Jin-Ee-Jin). A race without medicines and vaccines, Midden's tactical health squads (THS) have to do their best to keep their guest healthy.

He's one of a few dozen Jiniijin refugees adopted by Midden. Their planet was drifting in the direct path of a heavy meteorite cluster, and Midden arrived in time to only rescue so many. Several of Midden's Wama transports were pummeled as they attempted to lift off, and the fleet suffered heavier casualties once in space. Only three transports full of the species survived, and were moved to one of the preserves that Midden had set aside for natural evelopment.

The Jiniijin live in treehuts built in the upper limbs of trees over 50 feet tall. They dislike shorter trees, as on their former homeworld there was a predator that could pull them out of their nests with its long arms. They're a very simple and undeveloped race, and know little of technology or machinery.
