Haha, reminds me of a photo a friend of mine took of a fly, though it was on an orange ball. She had zoomed in so much it looked like it was on a field of orange hills, and she zoomed in further and you could see its wierd eyes and the veins in its wings. Insects are interesting to photograph!

there is some amazing texture on insects, grass hoppers for example have a tuff tank like shell... i got some im gonna put up.. ill do that ina few hours. How did u come across my profile btw?

yeah, and annoying sometimes when people judge a photo based on "personal thoughts" and "no idea" and make comments about your work saying it's thier professional advice. to be honest, this place is so superficial in places..

Hey jaydoncabe, I like it. I'm not a photographer so my opinion might not mean much. But tell me if I'm wrong, aren't there times that you would want "DOF out of focus to make the center attraction jump a bit more off the page? Like in a movie where the star and action is crisp and clear and the background is blurry and out of focus.
My second thought would be maybe, just maybe someone got a little power (group mod) and it has gone to there head a bit. Some groups are very highschoolish and if your not in their click your just never in and if you you are in you can do no wrong. I don't know this group so I can't say thats the case, just what I've observed here and there.
You see this clickish mentality at threadless with critiques that make no sense, contradict themselves and then close with "hey come vote on my shirt". I try to remain amused.
