Of all the Predacons, big and short, angry and calm, violent and passive, Tarantulas is far the creepiest. He prefers to conduct his experiments on live subjects, and shouts “Eureka!” if they live. Cackling away in his lab while his victims screech for mercy, the other Predacons prefer to stay far away from him at all times. Rarely will he participate in a battle, but when he does its so he can drag Maximals to his lair and leave their fates up to Primus. Usually he’ll send his Arachnoid drones or Blackarachnia to fight for him.

Of everyone in the galaxy, Tarntulas is only close with Blackarachnia, but she is just as creeped out by him as everyone else. He views the artificial Eukarian as his greatest creation and as the daughter he can never have. The both share machine guns in their spider legs and anchor guns. Megatron believes that one day Tarantulas will attempt to overthrow him as Predacon leader or possible destroy Eukaris with his latest contraption. For this reason he is to be closely observed at all times, for he could slip up or snap at any moment.

Also, he is probably a cannibal.
