Anyway this thing is monstruously well done, I really like this arachnid-tor crossing. Devine, creepy and gigantic, everything's here for such creature.
The relic in his back and the wings give him a majestic aspect, and the flail a great brutal force impression? I still wonder how it should render with a scythe.

Nice!! It's so great to see you entering into a game character concept contest (try to say that five times fast XD), this could really open some doors for ya. This is a solid lookin' character! He's got a great balance of skeletal and slimy muscular areas, and the use of shredded cloth, wings, and eerie blue fire makes him a great mix of sharp and flowing elements. You have such a talent for rendering a lot of detail without going over the top, and it makes the character so much more believable. I say you've got the win for this, good luck!

The 25 semi-finalist's have already been chosen, Sadly My piece is not one of them. But I am in no way sour about not being chosen, this is the first DA contest I have entered and I guarantee you it will not be my last. The way I see it, its another piece of artwork to add to my portfolio, which will eventually further my career as ''The Worlds greatest monster designer'' XD. That my friend is greater than any prize.

Hey thanks man, I didnt design it to be a mace though, although he could use it as a mace, Its really there to absorb the souls of fallen as it stomps across the battlefield. Also the contraption coming out of his back is a 'deathclock'. The eye in the middle can see when people are going to die.
