I just couldn't get past this pic without faving it...and leaving the background kinda raw (if I'm allowed to say so) puts the focus nicely on the little one.

Awesome! Like the colours alot. Have tryed some oil painting at school, though I dont think I could afford it myself. Which is a shame. That was alot of fun. So my question is: Is it as easy/fun/good-result-generating to work with acrylic? Seems like it by thisone, but an answer would be greately appriciated.

This is so sweet; it really strikes at the heart, especially for me with two very young brothers (three and one). Is there any way this could become a print? I would like to get one for the three year old for Christmas.

i love the range and depth of color you're getting in the face. How it isn't one flat color, buyt ther eare so many and its not... flat... at all. i can see your strokes

Theres something you can do with the eyes that gives them a little more humanity than a lot of other work ive seen. I like it. Thats a cool hat too. I've known kids like this. They have all the kid elements, screwing around, having funny colorful clothes and all, but sometimes thay just won't be bothered. Like theyll keep all of their kid business to themselves.

This is lovely.

I particularly enjoy the 'smaller' dimensions you have worked with, working on a smaller canvas is something that always interests me. The highlights upon the ridge of the hat and it's top really pick out it's shape and I like that. I'm intrigued to know how the concept of the hat came about - I'm diggin' it!

The piece - for me - really captures that distinctive sulky emotion and there's nothing I can criticise about the composition of the painting. Good stuff.

Oh... a strange, forlorn sort of expression...this is affecting somehow. I like the texture to it, and the colours are effective - sort of muted but soft and comfy. Nice work!

take a simple phrase like 'dont bug me' and turn it into a painting with a bit of play on words. This is prime exmaple of how it should be done. nice work.

I really like the emotion you convey in your subjects. Is it true because you are good you can draw people in any proportions? Teachers used to go after me re "head too big, eyes too small, arm too thin...etc" and it really bugged me as I did not feel free. And when I replied such and such artists did it, I would hear that (I) was not an artist Anyway, I love this work of yours, as much as many of your other works in your gallery.

what a wonderful looking hat. i like this image.
i always like how you leave your brush-marks on these images, it helps to see them as real paintings.
